The Villan Socks are inspired by the classic character beloved of Aston Villa supporters, known as The Villa Villan. The character came into being in around 1905, appearing in the “Sports Argus” newspaper with cartoonist Tom Webster adding life to the Villan. This season as Aston Villa celebrate their 150th anniversary the supporters of the club bought the character back to life in a giant tifo at the Champions League encounter with Juventus. This reminded us of running up the Rocky steps in Philadelphia with Villa fans in summer 2023 who showed images of the VIllan and said it would make good socks, we were all attending the Premier league Live games that summer in the USA, and here we are now!

We also have a range of Aston Villa headgear and badges at sister site Football Bobbles!

The socks are made from 80% cotton, 19% polyamide and 1% elastine in Portugal..
Every order comes with Sock Council stickers postcard

The socks are one size fits most, roughly…Large 6 to 11

The socks are half hose and will go to the mid-calf.
