]]> Hand of God Socks of course commemorate the incredible moment of cheating perpetrated by Diego Armando Maradona in the Quarter Final of the 1986 World Cup for Argentina against England. Despite scoring one of the greatest goals of all time in the same game this Monet of genius, as illegal as it was, still defines Maradona for many. The audacity to cheat as he did, see it through, and the execution were a genius in itself. WHile Scortland fans and the rest of the world lapped it up, English observers just wished Peter Shilton could have out jumped a man who stood at a towering 5 feet 5 inches.

]]> Viola Socks are inspired by an all time great, but hugely controversial, Fiorentina kit of the 1990s. Worn by stars including Batistuta, Effenberg and Laudrup, the Fiorentina change kit was a classic, until someone spotted the accidental swastika in the pattern. Being very much against nazis and their paraphanalia we have created a design inspired by the kit but very deliberately missing the offensive pattern. So we can have nice things still and not feel suitably bad about it!
The socks are the classic violet of Fiorentina with Italian tricolour detail on the top!

Dancing Diego Napoli Socks are inspired by the warm up moves of Napoli’s Maradona ahead of the second leg of their UEFA Cup Semi Final in 1989!

Facing Bayern Munich and with a place in a major final at stake Diego was so relaxed and he juggled the ball tot he sound of the music on the tannoy.

We made these socks to celebrate this moment and inspired by his genius.
