Best Socks are inspired by the kit Manchester United wore as they became the first English side to with the European Cup in 1968! United defeated Benfica at Wembley despite pressure not to even appear in the tournament from England’s football authorities. One of the goalscorer in this historic win was of course George Best, so we named the socks after him.
The socks bear the Coat of Arms of the City of Manchester, United’s first badge, and are the colour of the famed change kit worn on that glorious night. The top, heel and toe of the socks reflect the classic colours of the Red Devils, Red, Black and White.
The socks are made from 80% cotton, 19% polyamide and 1% elastine in Portugal..
Every order comes with Sock Council stickers and postcard
