Jack Socks are inspired by one of our all time favourite films, Get Carter. Jack Carter is of course the leading character, played superbly by Michael Caine. If you haven’t seen the film the recent 4k edit is simply stunning and a much watch. It comes with the brilliant soundtrack written by jazz pianist Roy Budd, it’s simply genius. The film is based in our home, Newcastle upon Tyne, in a gritty 1970s Tyneside that bears only some resemblance to the modern city that exists, unless you explore a little further. These socks are our tribute to a brilliant movie and character.
The socks are made from 80% cotton, 19% polyamide and 1% elastine in Portugal..
